A housing development that is fully oil and gas free is being built near Shrewsbury.

The Farmyard at Grafton, near Montford Bridge, launches this weekend and will feature three energy-efficient four- and five-bedroom luxury homes. They will be the first Dennis Edwards Homes in Shropshire to benefit from air source heat pumps and under-floor heating, making them completely gas and oil-free.

This means they are ahead of the Government’s 2025 target, which states that no new homes should be built with gas boilers beyond this date.
